Description
Data Sheet
| Applications | TGM4 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:500~1:2,000 and immunohistochemistry analysis is 1:50~100. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot is 1:1000 and Immunohistochemistry is 1:50. |
| Clone | PAT1H1AT. |
| Ig Subclass | Mouse IgG2b heavy chain and light chain. |
| Immunogen | Anti-human TGM4 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human TGM4 amino acids 421-565 purified from E. coli. |
| Protein Background | Transglutaminase 4 (TGM4) belongs to the papain-like family of transglutaminases. TGM4 is a unique member of the family due basically to its distribution pattern in the body in that it is mainly found in the prostate gland and existes only at low levels in other tissues types. |
| Protein formulation | 1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide. |
| Purification Method | TGM4 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography. |
| Stability / Shelf Life | 12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C. |
