Description PPP3R1 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 190 amino acids (1-170.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 21.5kDa. PPP3R1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Formulation PPP3R1 Human solution (1mg/1ml) containing 20mM Trsi HCL pH-8, 0.1M NaCl, 2mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
Protein Background PPP3R1 is a Ser/Thr-specific calcium and calmodulin-dependent protein phosphatase which takes a vital part in the T cell activation pathway. Calcineurin is composed of two subunits; calcineurin A (CnA) and calcineurin B (CnB). Dephosphorylation of the nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NF-AT) by Calcineurin is essential for NF-AT activation, nuclear translocation, and early gene expression in T-cells.
Purity Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Reagent Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Storage Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
Synonyms Protein phosphatase 3 regulatory subunit B alpha, CNB1, CALNB1, Protein phosphatase 3 (formerly 2B) regulatory subunit B (19kD) alpha isoform (calcineurin B type I), Calcineurin B type I (19kDa).
