| Description | PDXP Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 316 amino acids (1-296 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 33.8 kDa. The PDXP is fused to 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
| Expression host | Escherichia Coli. |
| Formulation | 1mg/ml solution containing 20mM Tris pH-8, 1mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl & 20% glycerol. |
| Physical Appearence | Sterile filtered colorless solution. |
| Protein Background | PDXP is the active form of vitamin B6 that functions as a coenzyme in preserving biochemical homeostasis. The desired degradation route from PLP to 4-pyridoxic acid involves the dephosphorylation of PLP by PDXP. PDXP shows activity to pyridoxal 5”-phosphate (PLP), pyridoxine 5”-phosphate (PMP) and Pyridoxine 5”-phosphate (PNP), with a highest activity with PLP followed by PNP. |
| Purity | Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
| Stability | PDXP Human although stable at 4C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
| Synonyms | CIN, PLP, PLPP, EC 3.1.3.74. |
