Description
Data Sheet
| Antibody Properties | Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. |
| Applications | EPHX1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000 ~ 2000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000. |
| Clone | PAT2E5AT. |
| Ig Subclass | Mouse IgG2a heavy chain and light chain. |
| Immunogen | Anti-human EPHX1 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human EPHX1 amino acids 21-455 purified from E. coli. |
| Protein Background | Epoxide hydrolase is a vital biotransformation enzyme which converts epoxides from the degradation of aromatic compounds to trans-dihydrodiols that can be conjugated and excreted from the body. Epoxide hydrolase functions in both the activation and detoxification of epoxides. Mutations in the EPHX1 gene cause preeclampsia, epoxide hydrolase deficiency or increased epoxide hydrolase activity. |
| Protein content | By direct ELISA, 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.8 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories). |
| Protein formulation | 1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide. |
| Purification Method | EPHX1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography. |
| Reconstitution | 1mg/ml in PBS (after reconstitution). |
| Stability / Shelf Life | 12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C. |
| Storage Procedures | For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
| Synonyms | Epoxide hydrolase 1, Microsomal epoxide hydrolase, Epoxide hydratase, EPHX1, EPHX, EPOX, MEH. |
| Titer | Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature. |
| Type | Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal. |
