Description
COFS4, DNA excision repair protein ERCC-1, RAD10, UV20, Excision Repair Cross-complementing rodent repair deficiency complementation group 1 (includes overlapping antisense sequence)
Data Sheet
| Description | ERCC1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli encoding human full length ERCC1 is fused to a GST tag and has a total molecular mass of 61kDa (including GST). The ERCC1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
| Expression host | Escherichia Coli. |
| Formulation | ERCC1is supplied in 100ug/ml in 50mM Tris-HCl (pH7.5) with 10mM L-glutathione (reduced). |
| Protein Background | ERCC1 polypeptide is essential for nucleotide excision repair (NER) of damaged DNA and is homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAD10, which takes part in repair and mitotic intra-chromosomal recombination. NER mechanism includes dual incisions on both sides of the damage catalyzed by two nucleases. In mammalian cells XPG cleaves 3′ of the DNA lesion while the ERCC1-XPF complex makes the 5′ incision. Raised levels of ERCC1 were also found in cisplatin-resistant cells. |
| Reagent Appearance | Sterile Filtered clear solution. |
| Stability | Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Please avoid freeze thaw cycles. |
| Synonyms | Excision Repair Cross-complementing rodent repair deficiency complementation group 1 (includes overlapping antisense sequence), RAD10, COFS4, UV20, DNA excision repair protein ERCC-1. |
