Background Human low density lipoprotein (LDL) is one of the key lipid:protein complexes in blood and is a crucial component of metabolism responsible for the transport of lipids throughout the body. Oxidation of LDL is natural process within the body, and oxidized LDL is an important tool in the study of scavenger receptor-mediated endocytosis by macrophages and endothelial cells, as well as foam cell formation.
Formulation The product is provided in a
solution with 154 mM NaCl, 5.6mM Na2HPO4, 1.1 mM
KH2PO4, and 0.34 mM EDTA, at pH 7.4.
Host/Source Human plasma, that tested negative for HBsAG, HIV1 /
2, HIV-NAT, HCV, HCV-NAT, and Syphilis.
Purity Co-migrates with reference on agarose gel
electrophoresis.
Stability Stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C.
