| Protein Background | Chitodextrinase is a unique membrane-bound endoenzyme. The chitodextrinase enzyme cleaves soluble oligomers, but not chitin, to the di- and trisaccharides. Chitodextrinase is unable to solubilize chitin, but it can catalyze the hydrolysis of high to low molecular weight soluble chitin oligosaccharides. |

Upon reconstitution Chitodextrinase should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
