| Protein Background | Magnesium-dependent phosphatase 1 (MDP1) is a memeber of the HAD-like hydrolase superfamily. MDP1 is a magnesium-dependent phosphatase which may act as a tyrosine phosphatase. MDP1 is inhibited by vanadate and zinc, and slightly by calcium. |
