Description
RF Absorbent is used in the sample preparation step for the detection of specific IgM antibodies in indirect immunoassays. It is used to remove IgM rheumatoid factors from serum/ plasma/ cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples.
NovateinBio’s RF Absorbent reagent contains anti- human-IgG immune serum from sheep or goats. Pretreatment of patient samples with this reagent will significantly eliminate/ reduce the level of interfering IgG antibodies by binding to them prior to introducing samples into the ELISA assay.
Supplied as 5X solution.
Procedure:
Dilute RF Absorbent 5 times in sample dilution buffer. To 100 ul of diluted RF Absorbent, add 1 ul of serum (for 1:101 serum dilution required ELISA kits).
