| Protein Background | Ribosomal protein S14 (RPS14) is a ribosomal protein, which is a member of the S11P family of ribosomal proteins. Ribosomes are the organelles which catalyze protein synthesis and composed of a small and a large subunit that consist of over 80 different ribosomal proteins. RPS14 is a component of the 40S subunit which localizes to the cytoplasm. |
