Description
HsT2456, Sm-D autoantigen, Sm-D1, SMD1, snRNP core protein D1, SNRPD, SNRPD1, Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Sm D1
Data Sheet
| Applications | Western blot with anti-Sm positive patient sera. |
| Coating concentration | 0.4-0.8 ug/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for biotinylation and iodination. |
| Description | SNRPD1 Human Recombinant produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 14,306 Dalton. SNRPD1 is expressed with a -6x His tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
| Expression host | Sf9 insect cells. |
| Formulation | SNRPD1 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-7.6, 250mM NaCl and 20% glycerol. |
| Immunological functions | 1. Binds IgG-type human auto-antibodies.2. Standard ELISA test (checker-board analysis of positive/negative sera panels including CDC international reference sera). |
| Protein Background | SNRPD1 is a small nuclear ribonucleoprotein which is a member of the SNRNP core protein family. SNRPD1 may act as a charged protein scaffold to stimulate SNRNP assembly or strengthen SNRNP-SNRNP interactions via nonspecific electrostatic contacts with RNA. In the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus, antinuclear antibodies are developed with Sm specificity. |
| Purity | Greater than 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
| Reagent Appearance | Sterile Filtered clear solution. |
| Stability | Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. |
| Synonyms | Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Sm D1, Sm-D1, Sm-D autoantigen, snRNP core protein D1, SNRPD1, SMD1, SNRPD, HsT2456. |
